Lens Corrections not working with DNG files

I have just tried working on a DNG file originating from a Canon 5D MkII. The lens corrections do not seem to work and the program will not allow me to use any kind of manual correction. Is there something I am doing wrong, or does Capture 1 not work fully with the DNG format?

    For lens corrections to work, you have to use the Canon raw-format. We generally do not support Lens Correction with DNG files.

    Hi Christian,
    I've just tried lens correction on several different raw files from different camera's and I think the tool isn't working as it should since version 7.1.6 ("disable default lens correction" is not enabled). In most cases it gives the correct profile but no correction.
