canon tethered shooting & leopard - who are we waiting f

a pro supplier has told me that the problems of canon tethered shooting with leopard and capture one 3.7.7 are because of apple not phaseone [similar to the usb issue last year after a tiger update] .. does anyone know if this is true? and if so has the leopard 10.5.1 update fixed this? obviously apple are clueless when i asked them about this!
if this isnt an apple problem, how near are you phaseone guys to releasing a solution?!

In a sense it is both. Prerelease versions of Leopard that we had to test and work on played nicely with Capture One, however the final release had several file handling changes that resulted in the bigs we have currently.
Reworking Capture One 3.7.x is a very time consuming process, hence one f the reasons we are moving to CO4 which is much quicker to update. 3.7.8 has taken a while to develop since it contains very many fixes, but it will be out soon.0
