MP 1.0.1 NOT Rendering Files Properly
I was wondering if fellow Windows x64 users of CaptureONE PRO 6.22 is experiencing a similar quagmire as myself. I am on a Windows 7 Professional x64 with 8 GB DDR RAM. I am also running CaptureONE PRO 6.2.2 x 64.
SO FAR: I have NOT experienced any problems or inconveniences until I recently paid for an upgrade to MediaPRO (MP) 1.0.1 from ExpressionMedia (EM) 2 SP2!
Here is my problem. When the rendering is set to PhaseONE in MP 1.0.1, I could see my RAW files as I edited in C1PRO; however, my 16-BIT TIFFS are NOT rendered. I got the error, "No media importer found" when I tried adding my TIFFS into the newly created MP catalog. When I changed the rendering from "PhaseONE" to the WIC option, I could see my TIFFS but not my RAW files. When I click on my RAW file, Canon 7D CR2 files, I received the same, "No media importer found."
HERE IS THE KICK: I re-installed EM2 SP2 and everything is running as expected. My 16-BIT layered TIFFS are showing as final composites AND I could see my RAW files (but not the edits I made in C1PRO—which is acceptable).
I have already submitted a support case and am waiting to see what additional troubleshooting steps I could take to fix my MP 1.0.1.
Has any of you experienced the similar problem I described? If so, how did you fix your problem so that your MP is rendering your RAW edits as you made in C1PRO AND your TIFFS are showing properly?

I had the same problem with 1.0.1,had to reinstall 1.00 to get tiff files to render with phase one engine.I have a support case about raw files not rendering in mp1 in version 1.00 when adjustment to levels slider is move below 255 in capture one pro,I had hope that version 1.0.1 would correct the problem only to find it did not,not only did the raw files not render but the tiff files would not render in full resolution using the phase one engine. Since the raw files do not render in either versions it was a easy decision to go back to 1.00 until phase one get it together,wnidow 7 64bit system 0 -
I am having some issues that sound like yours, exept I don't use C1 for many of my captures. I can't see tif files, and I think it maybe the 16bit. Just not sure it is limited to 16bit. I did enable to render larger than 100mb. and I just purchased the Fastviewer codecs and I cross my fingers this codec issue is cleared, as I also don't see the PSD files. Out of 700 images almost 200 show as not rendered in the action log. I try and rebuild with no luck.
What does one do to try and rescan the missed or problem files?0 -
@Raffi,
Please file a support case so that our issue will have more weight so that the R&D team at PhaseONE will acknowledge and address the similar problem.
In summary, my observed weird software is the following: if I have "PhaseONE" as the rendering engine, every RAW files of mine (Canon 7D, Canon 30D, Nikon D40X, and DNG) are recognized by MediaPRO and I could see the edits I have made in CaptureONE PRO 6.3. BUT MediaPRO will not render TIFF files. HOWEVER if I change the media renderer to "Windows Imagine Component" (WIC), I could not see my TIFFS, but NOT by RAW files.
It is a strange and peculiar observation, indeed. I made a screen capture and attached it as a supplementary to my case.
Please, please submit a support case to P1 so they could fix this bug in the next update.0 -
just did Ronald. 0
