4.7.0 released
I know this is a user to user forum, but i'd expect Phase One to officially announce here by themselves such major updates.
Well, it looks like they wouldn't.
So folks,
CO 4.7.0. is released.
Enjoy.

Phase One has already announced the update on their web site, as announced they would do. However, thanks for the heads up and your pre-announcement yesterday in the other thread. Appeared to be not a Aprils Fools day joke. 😉
It supports tethering with Canon 5D mkII and Nikon D3X. It is also possible to make adjustments to JPEG and TIFF files. Other additions are improved P65+ image quality and high quality preview from the operating system, a new Enhanced Image Package file format and usability improvements like output naming and adjustments keyboard control. See the release notes for details.0 -
Add captions with expression media 2 (iview) worked again under 4.6.3 and not with 4.7.0.
Anyone else this problem?0 -
So now I can adjust jpegs and Tifs but still cant use a template for IPTC/captions.... 0 -
Any more early reports from users? I've read about some crashing still which isn't too encouraging.

Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU! I am finally getting IPTC info passed through! It has been my complaint since 3.7.9...It was the one thing that was driving me crazy in work flow...Just FYI, I am using Photo Mechanic 4.6 to edit and embed IPTC info.
Haven't tried 5D Mark II tethered yet, but that was the other thing I was waiting for...
Thanks again Phase One team.

Wonder how this release is going to be affected by Apple's upcoming OS release?
Hopefully everything plays nice with each other.0 -

Can anyone elaborate on where these are documented?0 -

I assume you refer to the adjustments keyboard control. It has remained a mystery for me at least.0 -

I think it refers to the possibility to use the arrow keys (up/down) to adjust the sliders by placing the cursor in the text fields next to the sliders.0
