Version 8.02 slow metadata

I really love the new version however there seems to be an issue with the meta data. When I try to apply one of my presets to 1 image, the selection on screen or a few 100 it is very slow.
With CO 7 it was almost instanteous on 1000 pictures here even just on 8 images takes for ever and seems to freeze the screen.

Anybody experiencing the same thing ? Any suggestions ?

My config
Windows 7 64
RAM 8GB /CO uses 2-5GB)
SSD drive
Running in a vmware on a linux host with 2 cpu 4 cores 3ghz, 76GB of RAM with OS on another SSD drive

    No idea whether this has anything to do with it, but did you create the preset in CO7 or in CO8?

    We do not recommend that you CO from vmware. CO uses a lot CPU/GPU specific instructions, that are not available when running through vmware.
