Been using 6.2.w with a D5100 for a few weeks with good results and no apparent issues so far

Strange, because I can't import anything from d5100.
    C1 doesn't recognize d5100's NEF files.
I tried Apple's Aperture Trial and there was no problem.

Make sure you are activated as Capture One PRO. The DB (free digital-back-only version) will not edit dSLR files.

    I use Express version.
I'm editing d700's NEF files on regular basis and have no problem with that.
That's why I'm asking, when d5100's NEFs will be supported.

Have you tried copying files directly to HD from the card using Mac OS (or LR3 or similar), then seeing if you can edit them? I have a D7000 and the files from this aren't seen by the C1 import dialogue box. ONce on the HD, I can then edit them. However I'm unimpressed with the quality of the camera profile - when I had a D700 it was fine.
