Problem with layers

No. I am not seeing that.

When I saw your post I tried doing the sort nothing you mention. Add a layer, create a mask and adjust one part of the photo. Then add a second layer, create another mask and adjust that. When I do that I see the Layer 1 adjustments when making the Layer 2 adjustments.

Do you have the latest version? Is this on a PC? Or a Mac?

Hey Mike, Thanks for helping with this. I'm on a PC with an Intel i7-6700 @ 3.40 GHz running Win10 64bit and 16 gig of ram with an Nvidia GeForce GT640. My version of CO Pro is 11.2 build 11.2.0.121 so I guess the answer is NO, I don't have ver. 12 but the upgrade price for me is a bit too steep to justify that option right now. Thing is, this used to work fine for me and I'm not sure if this is some kind of driver issue or perhaps a setting that somehow got changed to create this issue. I'll check to see if there are new drivers for my video card after I finish here, but that doesn't seem a likely solution. I just tried my workflow on another image this morning with the same results so I'm at a loss as to how to fix this.

My son also uses Capture One regularly and I called him to see if he was having the same problem but NO, adding additional layers to his stack does not affect the previous adjustments to his work.

I'll take a look at my video card drivers and update here if there is any change. Thanks!

Okay....Problem solved! Believe it or not, this was caused by an outdated video card driver. Did an update and all is back to normal. Go figure! Thanks again Mike!

Glad to hear that your problem has been solved.

Oh, and by the way, when I asked if you had the latest version I meant did you have the latest version of C1 11, not 12. I have 11.3.2 and so you do not have the latest version of version 11, but perhaps the Windows versions are different from the Mac version (which is what I have). As for me, the upgrade price is also a bit steep. I like the luminosity masking functionality but I am, for now at least, waiting for a sale. I can live with version 11 for now.

Yeah and again, thanks for taking the time to help. I too was excited about the luminosity masking feature that was added to ver. 12 but as far as the other "new" features added, not so much. For a $150 upgrade price, I'll do like you and either wait for a sale or wait for a few more updates and hope those will be worth dishing out more bucks. Aloha Mike!
