Color Picker

You just have to click on the picker tool (between the brush and the arrow in the main tool bar), and a sub menu will appear with the different possibilities, incuding the "add colour readout" option. 0 -
Do you see colour readout values just above the image when moving the cursor around in the viewer?
My understanding is that the Express version does not provide the colour processing that provides the Colour Readout pins so the first thing to check would be whether you are in fact running as the Fuji Pro version rather than the Express version. Yes, I know it's a very basic thing but one should always confirm the most basic things before investigating in greater detail!0 -

Thanks for this comment. I was having the same issue and will definitely double check the version I have installed. Seeing the values helps so much with creating a white background0 -
OK. Got it. Crazily, I don't think I was holding down the mouse long enough for the menu to appear.
I can see how I can get RGB and LAB values from View > LAB Readout. How do I get CMYK?0 -

Use the Proof Profile option and select a CMYK profile from the list. (Assuming you have one installed somewhere on the system.)
Or use a Process Recipe that is defined with a CMYK profile and then enable the Recipe Proofing option.
Note that L.a.b readouts, where used, require an RGB profile. Turn L.a.b off for CMYK use.
Be aware that if you have more than one session/catalogue open and you are swapping between them it is very easy to have different settings in use for each of them but any pinned Colour Readout points will be shared and use a common position for all in the Viewer screen. This can be somewhat confusing at times.
HTH.
