anyone using Affinity as a plugin?
I'm finally doing the Affinity trial. The stand alone version works OK without Windows Aero desktop enabled (which they recommend) but when I try to use it as a plugin from Capture 1, it says I need windows aero. Is there a fix? I have seen a link for the work around but it's not working for the plugin. Thanks.

I think I lasted about 10 minutes with it. Wasn't intuitive enough compared to Photoshop.. didn't realise they did a plug-in for CaptureOne though! 0 -

It's not a plug in as such afaik. More the option to jump out of C1 and fire up Affinity for editing doing something that C1 does not attempt to do.
I have Affinity but hardly ever open it.

I don't use photoshop so I wouldn't know...not sure it is a plugin for C1 as I'm not getting too far with it 0 -

If you enable Aero on the machine, does it work?
I assume you are trying out the "Edit With" option?

Grant - My machine is old and I am leery of aero...I don't want to try it but I did find a workaround - just open Affinity before I use edit with in C1 & it works. My interest is in the single image tone mapping - it seems different than standard HDR presets. 0
