xmp Siedcar or, how can I migrate from 3.7.9

I used C1Pro (3.7.9) up to 2007 and over the lack of updates I changed to a different software. Now I need more and more data from my old C1Pro jobs. I browesd the forum and it seems that Phase one left the users alone in the rain with their old data structure.
Since then my approach to RAW developement changed a lot over the past years I am not so keen about the old settings but I would need the ITCP informations from the old files.

Is there a way to develope a xmp file in C1Pro 3.7.9 and import the merge the ITCP informationwith the RAW file in C1Pro 6.3.3?

    IIRC the XMP sidecar feature for metadata is from later date, at least where Capture One is involved. If you have the processed images, which contain the IPTC metadata you could transfer them to XMP and import it into CO6.
