File size JPEG
Converted in tiff 16 bits delivers the same file size 126.6 MB. But when I convert the RAW file in 100% quality jpeg the output file size is in CO 8.8 MB, in Lightroom 10.1 MB and in Canon DPP it is 10.3 MB. In each case converted without any adjustment.
Is it that the jpeg compression in Co is so heavy that I become some loss of quality compared with other converters?

Could be compression differences, but not likely for that big of a difference.
It's likely just the size of the embedded thumbnail that is making the difference, as appose to the JPEG data itself.0 -
Same -- Any TIFF file I import into Capture One (even >100 MB files) only export as a 6.2 MB file. I tried process receipts - 100 percent, fixed, everything I can think of. I need much larger JPEG exports - I do some printing and my LAB only accepts JPEG files. Okay - export as a TIFF and change file size with Photoshop to JPG, right? No. Newest Photoshop will only save as a JPEG 200 (JPF file) which is the most current and supposedly better file format, but my LAB will not accept JPF files. {Do not know why Photoshop did not also keep legacy JPG?} I do not want to run files through a converter program and possibly deteriorate image quality. Please help. Thank you.
