CO6 does not need a demoirize plugin because it is part of the tools (perhaps not in Express, only Pro, not sure).

I was on the road (well, train actually) yesterday, which made my post very brief. To elaborate:

What I recall, the moire plug-in for Photoshop that Capture One users are/were familiar with stems from the CO Pro 3 installation. Phase One dropped the plug-in with CO 4 now almost 4 years ago (December 2007). Of course, if you had the plug-in installed, you could still use it with CS2, CS3 or even CS4 perhaps (not sure).

Since CO 5 (again, if I recall correctly) there is a anti-moire tool in CO Pro 5 to fill-in the gap since CO Pro 3. You are more or less forced to use that instead of the older plug-in on Mac due to the migration from PowerPC based Macs to Intel based Macs. The old plug-in won't run in the Intel Mac. The Rosetta translation software (runs PPC code on Intel Mac) might have mitigated that transition somewhat, but since PS CS5 is a Intel only binary, I am afraid that ship has sailed as well, as does the newest OS X Lion (does not include Rosetta, declaring any PPC code end-of-life).

First i have to thank you for your help and your interest on my problem....because i just switched from PC to Mac i was used to handle the moire tool in PS (even at CS5 on windows) for two reasons....first i like to handle it after the basic develop and export of the image and second for the reason that de-moire tool at CO6 isn't that useful and convenient as at PS (lags a lot at CO) !!!Because my workflow has a lot to do with manipulating pictures of different types of clothing, de-moire plugin at PS is a life saver and i would be very pleased if there was a solution or something that you might have missed so i can find the solution i search!!!

Although I understand that you prefer the plug-in over CO 6's built-in moire tool, a question for my curiosity. Have you used CO 6's moire tool with local adjustments in layers?

What I find attractive of this solution is that you can apply anti-moire locally, on a selected spot, not affect the entire image. You can also have multiple spots with different amount of anti-moire thanks to separate layers.

Besides that I prefer to adjust as much as possible in CO 6 in contrast to PS. In case I have to re-process an image, I have less repeating work in PS. But that's my workflow.
