Is there a way to import images using P1 back as card reader

Hello

I have a new memory card reader that is not able to read one of my CF cards, though it will read my other cards. Until I track down another card reader is there a way to use the P1 back to read the card, and import it into LR3? The images are already on the card, so it's not a case of tethered shooting.... more, tethered importing .....

P45+ back. OS X 10.6.8.
