    Hi

I searched the forums but couldn't seem to find an answer to this issue.

I've recently upgraded to a 5D Mark III from the Mark II, and thus upgraded to CO 7.1 from 6.x. I've noticed drastically slower image transfer/render speeds on the new configuration. There is a solid 3-4 second delay from when I shoot until the image is up on the screen. I'm shooting medium JPEG (not raws) out of camera, so I don't think the file size is the issue as most images are 2-4MB. With similar file sizes coming from the Mark II on CO 6, the images were on screen in less than 1 second each and every time.

Has anyone else noticed a similar issue, or better yet can recommend a solution?

    Thanks!

Are you using the right preview size (matching your screen-resolution)? I'm guessing that you are on the same hardware?

    Christian-
About the display resolution - do we choose the setting that is closest to the monitors vertical px value?
so this one is 1920x1200 - I should choose 1280 in the prefs?

    Thanks for the tip Christian!

The preview size was set to 2560 and shooting to a 1080 monitor, so stepping the preview size back down has drastically sped things back up!

You should in your case select 1920 or the horizontal px value of your monitor.
