    Hi,

    It's no use to post your wishlist on this forum.
    The best way would be to tell the developing team, submitting a feature request at the following address:
    https://www.phaseone.com/support

    Cheers,
    Robert

    For me there is only one wish for c1 12 that the team starts listening to user and deliver features which really improve workflow not just add takling points for marketing. but I do not see that this will happen looking on all the issues and great ideas for improvement which have came up year after year without any real progress.

    For several years now I have been rasing tickets that Capture One does not show the lens type in JPEGs from a Panasonic camera. (It also misses showing the White balance, Drive Mode, Lens Firmware and Lens Serial Number)

    I think I'm up to 4 tickets on this topic.

    If they would just fix the lens type I would be a much happier customer.

    - catalogs capable of handling 50k images without the associated delay;
    - more regular updates, for instance to support OS updates;
    - better communication of C1 towards its end-users regarding outstanding issues and compatibility with OS;
    - radial brush;
    - faster demosaicing of Fuji X-trans files.

    The first three I expect in v11, especially since the cost of updating went up.

    Levels work on Layers in Capture One 11.

    Just started using COP 11 as I prepare for my un-updatable Lightroom software to fade away. The only negative I have found so far is the spot removal tool. I may be missing something, but to date I haven't been able to find a way to influence where the pixels are taken from to effect the healing. Lightroom will take an educated guess (usually pretty good), but if I think it can do better I can drag the source circle around until I get the best match. From what I've seen so far, COP takes a best guess and you are stuck with it. I don't have any plans to acquire Photoshop (if I did I'd pay up for the Adobe subscription) so a more advanced spot removal tool would be top of my list.

    If you try a healing layer, instead of the dust spot removal tool, I think you’ll find all your wishes have been granted 😊
