In general you do not need to "save" edits in C1 - saving changes is automatic.

If you "Exported" them or "Processed" the files ( a variation on Export with added controls over the operations) you would have created an output files of some sort, most probably a jpg or tiff depending on what you chose at the time, and they would have been saved to a folder that was probably not the same folder as the original images were in.

You would need the Exported or Processed files to take the image, complete with C1 editing, into PS.

However, if you wish to re-edit the files you saved (somehow and somewhere) yesterday you need to re-edit the original files (RAW files?) again, not the "Exports" or "Processed files".

Based on your post it's difficult to know how to suggest help and where to suggest you start to look for things other than pointing to the tutorials, the introduction videos and the online help.

It's not a complicated application but, typically, if your regular expectation have been something rather different in its approach - something like PS - you may have to "unlearn" some aspects of your expected workflow before things start to make sense.

    HTH.
