A bit buggy and sluggish? DB has flaws in it?
I just downloaded and started to use DB. I love whats been done overall. Ill say the software does have some issues.
I've tried to setup a special crop to use for a project. The shots are always cropping the same way. After 2 or 3 captures the crop goes away. I've tried to create a new crop, save it apply it, nothing.
I have one other major problem. When I am shooting and naming the captures as I go along. For some reason, it will use the previous filename as current and rename the new one with the previous named capture. It's as if the names get switch.
Ive been using Lightphase 2.0.1 (no jokes!) no problem at all under straight OS 9.2. I had to upgrade the computer to OS X to run some other programs. This is a dedicated G3 that is only used for capture and scanning, thats it. I have several othere G4, G5's for the actual work.
How can I keep the crop without losing it?
How can I stop this naming problem? I have to go back and check which item was re named in order to figure out the correct name and reshoot the lost one.
What a headache, I cant use the old software under classic. I dont want to install from scratch since the scanning software is now OS X.
Any ideas would be great.

Version 2.9.2 the same style as the 2.0 but works under Mac OS 10.1 and 10.2 http://www.phaseone.com/Content/Downloa ... chive.aspx
Other wise, naming go to capture tool and change setting to inherit from current capture.
Crop problem does not make sense, but I guess it should be te same if you run setting as inherit from current.0 -
As far as the crop problem. When I have it set to say 4x5. Ill be shhoting and after seberal captures the capture will not have the crop only the full image size.
Im using DB can you help with the naming issue? Id rather not go back to 2.9 if I can help it since I have OS X, profiles set and the rest of this project which is quite large.0 -
Ive tried to download 2.9.1 install fine, ask me for the dongle which I don't have. In addition how can I save all the custom setings, exposure, balance, etc. So that when I open I can use all the settings from the saved preffs.
