COv12 can't import files via card reader.
I just installed Capture One Pro 12.0.2
and tried to import my photos in my CF Card via card reader.
But "import dialog" doesn't have "import from" and "import to".
So, I CANNOT import any files and my photos on my CF card.
I'm so upset and so bothered cause I never experienced this trouble for 15 years in my CO experiences.
I just hope anyone can help me fix this trouble.

This is not likely a card reader problem. If you can't see the Import From or Import To dialog boxes you can't import from any media and the Import tool is malfunctioning. Assuming you have already tried quitting C1 and restarting, rebooting, and reinstalling, and any other of the magical things that sometimes work, the best move is to file a support case and include a screenshot of the Import Images screen. 0 -

Unfortunately the importing trouble isn’t fixed yet....
I’m now thinking to try to uninstall and clean install completely with Phase one direction on their website.
If I still have the trouble after trying that,
I will open the support case again.
Still anyone has any suggestions to fix the can’t-import trouble,

Are you sure that the card reader is working OK? Does it work for instance if you try to load images from the CF card using the Apple Image Capture app?
Also what licence are you running Capture One 12 under? Is it one that will work with your camera? (So for example check that you are not trying to import Nikon images using the Sony only version or the DB version.)

If you can't see the source and destination dialog boxes in the Import Images screen, the problem is in Capture One. Sometimes a download of Capture One is corrupt, or the pref files are corrupt, so you may have to completely uninstall it, and you might want to download another copy before reinstalling. When doing a complete uninstall before reinstalling, be sure to clear the buffer of pref files per the instructions.
If none of this works, you will need to resubmit the support case along with your log files.

Thank you so much for your responses everyone.
The result after many trials is I succeeded in importing via card reader
and I succeeded in having the "Import from and import to tab" in the "import dialog".
I tried a lot of things which included the advice you all gave to me;
like uninstall C1 completely following the Phase One online uninstalling page,
Download C1v12 again and clean install,
Upgrade Mac OS,
Check out the Version of C1 (I was installing C1 Pro proper version),
Check the SD card, CF card, and Card reader, USB Port,
Open the Support Case and follow the instructions,
and so on, which I thought could be the fix to have "the import from and import to tab".
BUT all the effort like above were NOT the answer at all.
That was just the fluck or the normal thing in C1.
I was lost at fixing
and I just happened to make a new session
right after 3rd time clean install following default dialog in C1v12.
The new session was made by the default condition.
And I just hit the tool bar import icon.
It showed me the right Import dialog with import from and import to!!!......
This is the story how I had the right "Import dialog".
After C1v12 installing,
I was using the work space I made before and was using from C1v8.
All the old work spaces' "Import Icon" didn't have the import from and to.
Just I changed all the work spaces into the work spaces with Import icon tool bar made by C1v12.
Finally, now my all the Import dialog had import form and import to. hahaha....
I just had only to use the default tool bar......
I don't know this error or bug happened onto only my C1v12.
I just hope every one's C1v12 import dialog work properly.
and all the things I hope is my experience could be help to people
who have the same trouble.
If this error or bug were from C1v12,
I hope they fix it.
