Locate folder does not remember new location
Not being able to "move" a folder in C1 - I move a folder in explorer. When I go into c1 I right click on the now missing folder and choose locate. I navigate to the new location. C1 see the files and I can work on the files in the new location. HOWEVER When I close C1 and reopen the folder structure is the same as before locating folders and then need to be re-located the folders.

I have this issue too. So every time I open C1 I need to do an additional step of navigating AGAIN to the correct location of my pics folder. 0 -
Can you both confirm you are on 7.1.4?
Can you both elaborate on the disk and path you relocate? Is it an removable disk, network share or local folder?0 -

I'm on 7.1.4.
I wanted to move my photos from one internal hard drive to another. So after moving the Pics folder I chose 'Locate' option and pointed to the new location. Everything worked perfectly fine until closing the application. After restarting C1 it presents the old location in the tree. Both hard drives are perfectly healthy.0 -

In this case I suggest you report in support case. Needs further investigation.0
