can't uninstall Capture One pro

I have C1LE on my system and also tried out the Pro version for some P45 test processing. I now can't remove it.

when I go to add and remove programs I get an error message:

\"could not open install.log file\"

so how do I manually remove it, whilst leaving C1LE in place?

  I suggest to do a complete Uninstall of all Phase One products and then a Clean Reinstall to eliminate headaches.
