is there a clenaer to make a fresh install?

    Phase One has a knowledge base for this. A more thorough clean than the regular 'uninstall' is described here:

    The screendumps in the article currently does not show up but the description will hopefully do.

    but there is not mention about registry keys (regkey)
    and cache (thumbs)

    and it's about the version 4 i use the 5 version
    by the way is the v5 better then 4 , i hope, i'm new

    by the way is the v5 better then 4 , i hope, i'm new

    Capture One does not store much in the registry, but you can do a search on Phase One (just a hint...) and the cache/preview/thumbs are stored in a subfolder of your image folder. Article is about v4 but v5 is the same in this respect.
