Support for RED cameras?

I am wondering if anyone uses Media Pro to manage video files? We are trying to manage large files over a server and can't seem to get the .R3D files to load into Media Pro. Any thoughts?

    Are you on Mac or PC?
    If you are on a PC it may be possible to download the Codec from RED and then use the Windows Imaging Component Render Engine.

    There was your identical 2nd posting of this question in this forum: forum.phaseone.com/En/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=12823. My answer and solution is for Windows, but I wonder if this INI file setting can work in the same way on Mac. May be other Mac users can test and reply.
