    Yes you can create any White Balance you like and have specific ones set as available Skin Tone WB styles.

    I think the reason the selection tends towards the lighter tone is that the subtleties of WB affected skin tones are more obvious for the lighter tones and potentially more problematic for critical work. The darker the skin tone the less likely that subtle skin WB will be useful.

    However to set you own you can follow the built in instruction help file in C1.

    In the WB tool click the "?" icon in the WB tool's toolbar and that should get you to the C1 Help File where the functionality is described. To create and set a new WB skin colour just follow the instructions in the Help section. They involve using the Colour Adjustment tool.

    You can then save your new colour adjustment as a Preset for re-use as required.

    Nice timing Christian!

    You reminded me of how much I worked out about this tool a while back - and then forgot as I rarely work with such fine adjustment of colours. I'm sure I would have recollected had I needed to - but your post is an excellent reminder. Thanks.
