    Hi,
We can add and modify metadata in the info panel to the left of the main view panel. But since El Capitan the information fields are frozen and remain permanently in orange.
we have the same problem with the organize panel.

    dear "CaptureNikon D700"
    Thanks for sharing your experience
could you please specify the version of El capitan you use?
I tested Media Pro after perfect clean install of OS X 10.11.x and Media Pro. Since 10.11.3, I lost the modification of annotations

    you findet here... https://www.dropbox.com/s/bfjuzh07yr0ue ... c.jpg?dl=0

    tray this,
after you make a backup to your Data " very importnet !"
download the last OSX 10.11.X version directly from Apple Store and install it over your
existent OSX on the mac " don't use the clean Method ",
The neu OSX version will update only the missing Data, after that install Media Pro 1.5
i thing many users are using a OSX- USB Stick pakage and the clean install method , with this
method they are missing some impotent files to update.
Apple is updating the OSX 10.11 continuously,

    Hi,
you are right. I Precisely installed OS X 10.11.x as you describe from Apple Store on a reformatted blank disk and I did not imported back library
But I realize I have installed the Phase One French version then I replaced with the corrected French version of the iView Media Pro developer available on the iView Media Pro website. Indeed the Media Pro French version by Phase One developers is not very good.
I'll reinstall retaining the Phase One french version
    Thanks for your help
    best

    Hi,
I have the same problem to fill in media description in the info panel with a new El Capitan system installation
I can edit or add information but I do not see what I am doing because the fields are not activated, they keep the orange color. I realize additions or changes or not when I save the modifications
Another problem: I do not open the display options
The Phase One team recognizes that there are some bugs with El Capitan and tries to release a new version
    Thank you for your contributions

I found the reason why the Media Pro features (versions 1.5 and SE 2.0) running under El Capitan were blocked. This happens when you select "Auto-hide the menu bar" feature in system preferences
this feature (Auto-hide the menu bar) is very convenient to work in full screen
So the Phase One team could try to fix this bug
    thanks a lot
