no expert but i think it might be a permissions issue like the other question regarding run as administrator. That happened to me I had to go in and change permissions to "everyone" on Windows 7 for all files. Windows 7 is very precise or picky which ever you prefer. too much for me but what can you do?

Good idea but if that is the answer, I'm going to blow someone up. I was processing images just fine, changed nothing, and all of a sudden I cant process images. This program is more screwed up than before they "fixed" it. I have never had any problems with permissions, I am the only user of this computer, the administrator, and all permissions are set to all users. So I'm pretty sure that's not it. I have the same question in to tech supposrt such as

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO PAY ME FOR THE TIME I SPEND JUST TRYING TO GET THIS PIECE OF JUNK TO WORK?

and why does the Queue show a "Stop" button that is grayed out instead of the Process button? You would think that if user privileges were not in place, the Process button would be grayed out. But it thinks there is something processing and so the Stop button is showing, except nothing is processing and the Stop button is grayed out as is the "Reprocess Selected and Clear History buttons.

they replied with the answer. you have to toggle the "Edit All" option under the Help menu before you can process images. It doesn't seem to matter to them that Select All doesn't really mean Select All. To them it means "Select all AND Change the Edit All selection".

Remember, most engineers including software engineers, are not trained in Communication, just in writing code.
