File Packager doesn't respect your users' privacy
Just a heads up to anyone submitting logs to Phase One, the Scripts->File Packager item that generates COLogs.zip for PhaseOne to help you debug actually takes every crash log or spindump from your system, not just the Capture One related ones. I don't understand why this would need to be collected, but Phase One should fix this and be ashamed of themselves for not respecting their users' privacy, especially given the cost of this year's version and that their users are helping them debug their program.

CO 10 was a very nosy software when it came to include personal information in the logs. I had to remove and clean them before sending them to support.
I don't know if 11 is better or worse but I did lock down write permission for the "EQATEC Analytics" folder as well as blocked outgoing coms in my firewall to avoid things getting out.
I wish PhaseOne would offer us an option to participate but they do not seem that interested in that.0 -
