A simple test between Expression Media et Media pro :
* I create a new catalog
* I drag/drop a folder (660 Mo) with 441 files jp2
* and I waiting...

Expression Media finish its work : 5:40 (7,9 % faster)
Media pro : 6:07

I am a little disappointed...

  Maybe Mpro is rebuilding thumbs or some content vs EM which maybe tide in more on Wn OS and can share some info?
  Or perhaps that EM isn't looking for Phase One files to rebuild with adjustments?
  
  Those are 2 very off the top of my head guesses
  
  Not sure if this applies, but...
  I would be willing to give up a chunk of seconds for thumbs to show properly, or to auto fetch updated content that may have been made in other apps.
  
  On another note that I had posted in C1 topic...
  For me Capture One 3.78 vs v6.2 speed to show a focused image after capture is the huge working difference for me. So I still shoot with 3.78, as it takes a 10-15 seconds longer for images to show up IN FOCUS on the screen.
  Can you wait 10 to 15 seconds between captures, even on a still shoot?
  BUT! sometimes 3.78 hangs when I shoot repeat images somewhat fast. (I clearly wait for the ready beep). But after 5 to 7 frames v3.78 hangs. So I then switch to v6.2 and shoot blindly sometimes as I know the plane of focus to subject by heart (this could be good or sad thing 😜 I do need to do some testing to rule a couple possibilities out, but wonder if others noticed? (my post in C1 must have been a smlow week on the forums:-)

  An another test. I open my ivc file and mpcatalog file :
  * with EM2, I click twice on a image : 2,5 secondes
  * Idem with Media Pro : 4,6 secondes.
