Organizing ICC Profiles
Good day to all of you,
We are experiencing problems in organizing all of our ICC Profiles at the moment.
What is the source folder that we have to work on in order to troubleshoot the lack of hierarchy on our 'other' ICC profile scrolling banner?
Looking forward to reading your wise advices

ICC profiles are sourced from 3 locations:
1. HD>Library>ColorSync>Profiles
2. USER>Library>ColorSync>Profiles
3. Within the application package (bundled profiles)
Sorting however is controlled by the naming convention used. If the profile does not follow the same naming convention as other bundled profiles it will be included in "Other." If, for instance you created a new P25+ profile and wanted it to appear alongside other P25+ profiles in the menu structure, you would name it with the same prefix as the others: PhaseOneP25+-CUSTOM NAME.icm.
For a 5D MK II it would be CanonEOS5DMk2-CUSTOM NAME.icm0 -

To add:
4. HD>System>Library>ColorSync>Profiles
Note that a folder with profiles can contain either subfolders or an alias to a folder in an application package (typically Photoshop does this)0
