"Log me on automatically each visit" option not sticky
Hi,
This post is off-topic but there no section dedicated to the forum itself. Sorry.
The above mentioned option doesn't work for me whatever the browser or the system used. I have no problem with other forums.

It's been like that for me since I started here with v7.
The other weird thing about the forums is the way it doesn't let new users choose a sensible user name when they sign up. They then have to go to the main site to change it. Not had that on any other forum either.0 -
It's a well-known issue that the "log me on automatically each visit" option doesn't work.

Yes there is a plan for this, but it seem to drag on a little bit longer due to other projects.
Right now it is scheduled for the very first week of April (OK a week shy of still being Q1)
