Id suggest a quick search through the forum as there seem to be 2 or 3 other threads discussing the same thing.
It would seem this is best addressed by turning off the sleep mode on your camera/computer. Canon will hopefully release a new software package to suppor Mountain Lion in the future and that release will also address the issue you have discussed.

Hey Drew Thank You very much For the Support .

    You said :

[color=#FF0000:16ddk4cx]If you are using a Canon 5D Mark III or Canon 1Dx please use Capture One Pro 6.4.4 within the Apple 10.7.4 Operating System[/color:16ddk4cx]

That is exactly the setup i have And the Connection breaks after 5-8 pictures ....

Hope that Canon will fix that problem real Quick ! Doesn´t look too cool in front of the Clients ...

    Best

    Carl.

    Carl,
We do not have the same experience here.
Capture One 6.4.4 and the 10.7.4 Operating System allows for stable tethered shooting with the Canon 5D Mark III and Canon 1Dx as long as neither Camera or Computer goes to sleep.
I would suggest that you create a support case as there seems to be something more at play here.

Same problem here. Unfortunately I updated to Mac OS 10.7.5 and cannot attach my Canon 5D Mark III with CO 6.4.4. So I went back to 6.4.2. No luck there either. Don't really want to roll my OS back to 10.7.4. This is not the first time there have been issues with Canon, Apple and Capture One. Right now I cannot shoot. This is not a reliable group of products.

Perhaps this will help with clarification...

Thank you for the link. Is there a historical timeline for Canon creating a new SDK for the latest software? Is Nikon more on punctual with updates? I really would like a system that that stays current with these three variables, camera, computer os, capture software.
    Thanks,
    Jim
