Settings did get lost
Hello,
I found a directory with RAW files where I see no settings in CO 6. The RAW files are created and processed in 2008 with version 5. When I had a look to the directories with the explorer I found the following directories and files:
2008\*.jpg
2008\RAW\*.CR2
2008\RAW\.RWSettings\*.rws
2008\RAW\CaptureOne\Cache\Proxies\*.cof and *.cop
2008\RAW\CaptureOne\Settings50\*.cos
The last two directories and its content seems to be created right now.
Are my settings lost or can I get them back?

According to forensics (grin) you were working with RAW Shooter those days, not Capture One. The year 2008 was the year of the beginning of CO4. CO5 was released October 2009. CO6 created the proxies and Settings50 folders just recently. No settings are lost if you still have RAW Shooter. 0 -
Oh what a shame. 🤭
You are right. I thought that I started with CO in 2008 but it was 2009. Before I worked with Raw-Shooter essentials.0 -
Nothing to be shamed about. Actually, you did start mid 2008 with CO4 but found it to slow compared to RawShooter:

We discussed 4.1.2 in October 2008 if I recall correctly. You can look it up when you go through your earliest posts here.
Happy shooting and keep them rollin'.0
