Teathering is becoming a farce

So Capture One 4.5 needs OS 10.5.5 on an intel powerbook . I may need to buy a new computer,great. But the new macs do not have a Firewire 400 Connection . As we all know PhaseOne backs have a firewire 400 connection. Very Clever. Is anybody talking to each other in this business.

I know you can get an adapter but how reliable is this. One more thing to worry about.

Doors are slamming quickly these days.

    You can connect a Firewire 400 device to a Firewire 800 port on the computer. No adapter needed, just the proper cable.

    Not with the super duper Firewire cabel that came with my Back.

    You can get a small adaptor from sonnet tech. 😊
