reducing haze in landscape shots
I shot a lot of photos recently of landscapes and the conditions were very hazy.
Does anyone know a good method of reducing that 'hazy' look in C1?

You could treat a hazy landscape as a low contrast image. Potential tools to increase image quality are (in order of application) high contrast film curve, contrast setting, black and white point level adjustments. 0 -

Would you use the clarity tool too?

I am from the old school and therefore not used to the Clarity tool, so I can not comment on that.0 -
I use the same technique Paul_E uses. 0 -
The clarity tool is great for this. Most low contrast landscapes are almost all mid tones with few high or low tones. From my observations the clarity tool is basically a mid-contrast adjustment and pulls these tones apart to give some snap to the limited range of tones produced in foggy or heavily overcast lighting conditions. It also works very well for images lacking contrast due to flare.
My 2 methods are either a mild S curve and adjust the dark areas with the Shadows and then use the clarity tool or use the Clarity tool and then adjust the white and black points with levels.

Contrast and Clarity tool or export to tif and use KPT Equalizer plugin to enchance local contrast (the same tool as Clatiy or Unsharp mask with big radius but with simultaneous applying of different amount contrast for various raidius settings) 0
