    I TOTALLY agree!

I used to use C1 3.7 to edit/cull my files since it was instantaneous when switching between images. Now it's the same as all the other RAW software = slow.

Now C1 4.5 is a step backward and slow compared to 3.7. What happened?

I know it takes a second to show you a preview with all the adjustments applied, but 3.7 had to do a similar thing and was still WAY faster.

At the very least, have a mode that shows us an uncorrected preview instantly at full preview res (not blurry).

    Another one to totaly agree!!
Have been using the C1 many years from vers.2xx to 3.7.8 and just loved the way it displayed thumbnail and previews. But I dont like the CO4.5 att all (!) and one of the reasons is the waiting for a sharp previev. Even if the 3.7.8 dont show full size previews for the Nikon D3 and D300 (.-Why.?!.) i prefer using this version because it is much more efficient when it comes to handeling large amounts of files! A normal jobb for me is correcting and converting 2-300 files at a time, but even if the CO4x batch the files faster its not the big issue, handeling and adjusting the individual pictures is!
The interface of the 3xx for handeling large amount of files is in my opinion outstanding!!
I´ll probably have a wery hard time to get used th th CO4x, if I ever do..?
To much unlogical menus ,and not to mention "all the bugs"...!
    Long live the 3.7.8!!

If there were a toggle button for sharpness preview like in 3.x that I could leave off while adjusting levels and then turn on when adjusting details that should solve this problem. So there'd be a instant non-sharpened view and a selectable delay for when it is needed.
