setting white balance to 'daylight' while tethered

Suggestion: in the white balance tool select Daylight after the first shot. Next, in your Next Capture Adjustments tool, select Copy from Last.

Also, in the Camera tool, set the Balance.

And probably you can set this in the P45+ back as well.

Have you considered taking a grey card or similar with you that you can shoot in the first frame? I use a Lastolite XpoBalance whenever I think I'm going to struggle to find a neutral grey.

Thanks for the answers. Maybe I didn't explain myself so well - the problem was that the options for changing the white balance in C1 are greyed out when I shoot tethered. I had tried selecting 'copy WB from last shot' and 'default WB' but still all greyed out. This was correct as the last tethered shoot I did I had set a custom WB. The various tools mentioned by Paul are all greyed out. The back gives me no option to choose 'daylight' when tethered - only various custom WB's.

However I managed to 'unstick' this situation by shooting a frame untethered, downloading via card, then using copy WB from last shot. A bit clumsy but hey...

I do carry a grey card - but my whole thing was i didn't want to select a WB using the custom method - just wanted to set 'daylight' - a setting I knew would give me a reasonable starting point for the landscape i was shooting (which has no foreground hence the grey card is of little use).
