Capture 1 and Media pro do not sync information

Capture 1 and Media pro do not sync information using catalogs in capture 1. I followed the videos to set up the packages to talk to each other, several times, and if I make changes in capture one it doesn't reflect in media pro. If I make a change in media pro(i.e. change the image name), it doesn't reflect in the capture 1 catalog. I have updated all the software before trying this. I don't know where to proceed from here. Help

    Catalogs are a closed system which includes all the Adjustments and File associations within it. It is not possible for Media Pro to access this Catalog. With the use of a Capture One Session, the adjustments are among the RAW files wherever they reside. As such, Media Pro can access and read this, displaying the adjustments and allowing compatibility between Capture One workflow and Media Pro.
