    What is the file format?

What are the dimensions of the images?

C1 operates with a Maximum longest side and a minim shortest side (in pixels) and Panoramas often break on of those "rules".

    ETA: See Jim's comments below.

There is a reason that people write specialist software for dealing with very large panoramas. The processing requirements are generally quite specialised.

Baring in mind that Capture One is designed to handle single images from Cameras and the max dimensions of these files tend to be no more than that of an IQ180, huge pano files tend fall out side this design.

However: that said the buffer in 8 was extended: the current max file size is 40 k x 20 k pixels or a combination thereof.

There are other reasons why it won't load - no profile for example. If you still have issues suggest you make a case and provide us with a sample to look at...

If the issue isn't with maximum size, it is very likely the use of an alpha channel (transparency). Autopano Giga uses an alpha channel for transparency for those areas within the crop that are outside the image. C1P8 doesn't seem to like TIFFs with alpha channels. I believe you can specify not to use an alpha channel when processing your images in Autopano Giga. Otherwise, just open the TIFF in Preview and export it as a TIFF without an alpha channel and it should load fine in C1P8.

It was the alpha channel and AP Giga v4 can render without the alpha channel.
