Problem Syncing Annotations
I'm having a problem with synching annotations in Media Pro. It's a strange problem.....
My typical workflow is to update/change/add/etc. annotations then go to Action - Sync Annotations
This usually works, but lately I have been having issues with files seeming to have all the IPTC information synched but when opened in another DAMS or in Photoshop some of the information is not there. It seems to be when I change the information.
For example I had an image with the IPTC title as Unidentified. I deleted that title, synched the file (just to make sure the information was gone) and changed the title, then synched it again. The information I added (keywords, etc.) were there but any field that had information that I changed will not synch. These are all tiff files, and it only happens to certain ones??

I found the same issue as well few days ago. Also tried clear annotation and then write the new one...with no result.
I checked metadata in MacOS X native software only (Finder, Preview), not in Photoshop and it shows me still the old annotation. However when I upload images to G+ and Fcb, new annotation is there...strange.
I haven't found the solution yet.0 -
Thanks for the reply. It's a strange problem, it seems that Media Pro is having a problem actually erasing data from an image file. If anyone out there has any suggestions let me know.

Working flow (discovered by chance):
1. Import into C1.
2. Make any annotations/modifications needed in C1.
3. Sync annotations in C1.
4. Add files to MP.
5. Close C1.
6. Make any modifications you want in MP.
7. Close MP.
8. Open MP.
9. Sync from MP to C1.
10. Open C1.
11. Reload metadata.
