Color Picker: Readout

What is the sample point size, point, 3x3 pixel, or something else?

When I process a file and view it in Photoshop CS5 the point readouts are slightly different compared to C1, consistently I have higher green values in PS. Also it appears that the image is slightly softer in PS too. Am I processing incorrectly for all the values to carry over to PS?

    The OP message is a little old, but I too would like to know the sample size of the Color Picker Tool in C1.

    In my experience, even working with brand new Gretag charts, single pixel sample is a waste of time.

    Much better to be 3x3 or 5x5.

    Better still to have the choice as in PS CS6.
