Canon 5D / Leopard - Not a tethering issue?
I realized last night that the issue with tethering doesn't seem to be with tethering itself, but how the files are dealt with once they come down the pipe.
What made me realize this is that besides tethering not working properly, using the card download tool within C1 does the exact same thing! People using Leopard should be aware of this and should NOT have this set to 'Delete files after download' as you will lose your photos. The only way to get images in currently is a manual copy or you can use Apple's Image Capture utility which is a little easier.
In a way this is encouraging as it points to some minor issue with file handling in leopard instead of some major incompatibility between Leopard and tethering Canons like we all dealt with a while back.
