Cannot copy white balance settings

I don't see a problem when copy to clipboard and then applying from the WB tool. The values applied are exactly as copied.

There are other ways of do it of course. Which method are you using?

By default CO will only copy settings that have been adjusted from its base/default setting (this can be changed in the adjustments clipboard tool tab menu). For example if exposure is left at the default setting of 0 it will not copy/paste exposure settings. For White balance the default setting is whatever the camera WB was set to, or "shot" in the WB drop down menu. If you never adjusted WB on the image you are copying from, it will not be pasted to another image.

To check if this is what is causing your issue look in the Adjustments menu and see if white balance is ticked after you copy, or you could click on the copy icon (double arrow) in the white balance tool itself. If the WB box is ticked it should paste the settings.

Take a look at the adjustments clipboard after copying the settings. If the White Balance isn't checked that means it hasn't been modified and therefore C1 doesn't select this setting for copying.

However you can manually check it after copying and before pasting the setting - then it will also be copied. 😊

Please forgive me for not respondig for so much time 🤭 (I was very busy and have forgotten to activate the notify feature.)
I nearly always let my camera make "Auto WB" because I will do this setting within Capture One.
In this case I took several captures for stitching a panorama. So I changed WB for the first photo from Shot to Daylight. Then I clicked the double-arrow symbol which opens a window named "Adjustment Clipboard" and clicked "Apply". Checking the other photos I recognized that all of them changed to "Custom" but with different values of "Kelvin" and "Tint".
Next I tried to copy the "Custom" setting from the first photo to the other photos. But always the same - the values have changed but to apperantly random values.

    But the BEST comes now:
When I try it now again, all behaves normal. I cannot reproduce the strange effect that I had last time.
    I swear - I haven't drunken too much 🤓
Maybe that closing Capture One and restarting again was the solution - I have no idea.
Sorry for stealing your time and many thanks for your effort to help!

    Merry christmas!!

    Hello Ernst,

    These things can happen!

I would guess that something may have been left in the system cache or, perhaps more likely, in the temporary files area and so interfered with your processing by picking up other adjustments.

Which version of Windows are you running?

I had some random issues with the Output Process not processing all the files in a batch but random and no obvious reason.

I was advised to clear the the work area files and that solved the problem. This sound like something similar but in a different process.

If I look in my Temp folder I see that many applications have left files there so I assume it is probably a Windows problem that normally does no more than fill up some disk space but sometimes interferes with processing, though rarely. Most of the files I see appear to relate to past installation procedures.

If the problem reappears it may be worth checking the temp folder - maybe get some guidance for C1 Tech Support for that as well? Just to be sure that everything that may need to be cleaned out is cleaned out.

    Thank you SFA
I am running Windows 10. It's all fine now. Unfortunately this happened just when I worked for the first time with version V11. Therefore I thought that this maybe a bug in the new version.
If there happen again such strange things I'll clean up the temporary files area as you recommend.
