4.0 crashed;4.01 worked, now 4.1 crashes!

Despite all measures and tech support, 4.0 would always crash on trying to open it. Very disappointing.

4.01 fixed the problem. Life was joy.

Now 4.1 does the same thing as 4.0! Crashes on opening!

Have reinstalled 4.01 and it opens fine.

Any ideas? Thanks

    Delete/move the cache-folders. Had some start-up crashes also and deletion of this folders worked for me.
    Just Give it a try...

    Of course now I've got dozens of cache folders all over the place!

    Judging by other posts on the forum, and advice from Jon Gilbert, errors of this kind are generally associated with the Capture One.col file located at:

    My Documents\\My Pictures\\Capture One Library\\Capture One.col

    Try deleting this file and re-starting C1 before you start any wholesale removal of distributed preview cache and settings data.
