On the Phase One online store an upgrade to Capture One 6pro from version 3pro is 69 Euros - about £60 or 95$ (- currency rates vary) If you are buying in the European Union you have to pay 25% VAT in addition. Even in the UK it's still 25% not 20%, so the cost to you in the UK is about £75

You can trial the full version before buying...it does not affect your current version (however, settings are not interchangeable.)

I would advise watching a few of the videos before beginning your trial to aquaint yourself with the newer interface and vastly expanded feature set...

    Good advice from John4.

Excellent additions to version 3 for me - Single pixel noise reduction which at a setting around 25 will just remove stuck pixels and not affect anything else. Keystone correction - absolutely excellent and of course done at raw level. Local adjustments (albeit with a limited number of layers). Also dust and spot removal - Remove all your dust spots from a 'master' e.g. a sky shot, save this (dust & spot only) as a style, then apply this style to your images on import.

Many people think the keystone correction worth the cost of upgrade alone.

Version 6 also makes use of the graphics processor on supported video cards to speed up processing operations, (opencl). I have this but do not find it vastly different, so if your system did not support this it may not be a critical omission, not enough to suggest not upgrading given the new features.
