Can't ouput

I just upgraded to 6.4.4 and can't output my photos in any recipe. I am running on Mac OS 10.6.8. The first time I tried a warning popped up saying I needed to click on "Edit all Selected Variants" which I did. That didn't work so I unclicked it. Nothing happened. I also shut down and rebooted. Still not working. Suggestions anyone?

  After you give the process command, is the image placed in the batch queue? (open the queue first to monitor closely)
  
  And: clear the batch queue first and the history queue.

  I'd never cleared them in all these years. Now it is working. Wonder why it wouldn't have told me?
