Meta data goes missing!

On a test with 9.0.3 I have found that something unusual is happening with files processed in C1. Test done with C1 Pro full version, however I mostly use Sony files, (which I am sure the full version is capable of processing). OS El Capitan.

Here are my before and after results as viewed in "pyExifToolGui" (a downloadable tool):
Original ARW file has:
88 fields of exif data (too many to list)
167 fields of maker notes (too many to list)

I then processed the ARW file and exported it as a JPG.
Exported JPG file has:
Only 38 fields of exif data
and zero (0) fields of maker notes

One very important missing field is the Lens Info or Lens Model!
I can see the Focal Length used, but not which lens.

It is puzzling why these fields are disappearing and I wonder if anybody else has experienced this behavior?

    Can you check if the relevant boxes are ticked in your process recipe, in the Metadata tab?

    Did you make any modifications to the arw files with pyExifToolGui (or any other) or are the raws straight from the camera?

    Unusual, have you checked the exif using with Preview? I use a very similar workflow and those fields are exported. Having said this an important difference is that I am still on Yosemite.

    Lastly are you running a trial or full license.

    Straight from the camera - no modifications.

    ExifTool is more accurate than Preview. Have you checked the difference in the number of exif and maker fields between your ARW and JPG files? Could you please post a small files for me to verify?

    No chance of that, as stated above. This was a professionally conducted test under 4 eyes. Trial license.

    I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean.

    Meanwhile I ran a test here with exiftool and it does seem like some metadata fields are "lost" when processing to JPEG. Weird.
