"Empty Session Trash" grayed out

I'm trying to empty my session trash folder (containing 150+ RAW files), but the "Empty Session Trash" option is grayed out across the board, whether I right-click on the Trash Folder in the Session Library, or go to File > Empty Session Trash...

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

(I'm running Capture One 11.3 on Mac OS 10.12.6)

    Do the files actually show up in the Trash folder as seen from within Capture One? I ask because for some time I have had an issue (and I think that others have too) that means that when you move images to another folder (including to Trash) they don't always show up straight away. I sometimes have to right click the Trash folder and choose "Show in Finder", and when it has done that, Capture One seems to "see" the contents of the Trash folder. If Capture One thinks that there are no files in it, the option to empty it will be greyed out.

    I'm having this same issue and haven't found a solution either, aside from deleting them from within Finder.

    Anyone?

    Try a verify of the session database (File menu > Verify).

    I have tried all the KISS / obvious solutions that I know of: verify catalog, add trash to favorites, delete proxies and prefs in finder, rebuilt previews, etc...

    Oddly, the option to Delete From Disk was active so that’s the route we went.

    "Empty Session Trash" is a function for a Session, not a catalogue, as far as I know.

    But there is an equivalent Empty Catalog Trash action for catalogs.

    Indeed there is and in fact the option to Empty Catalog trash appears to respond according to whether there is anything in the trash. On the other hand Empty session trash seem to be always active.

    That said I have both a session and a catalog loaded and a couple of things seemed odd when I switched between the two. Might have been me not seeing things correctly. I'll check some more.

    There are multiple people here with the same problem, but, I for one am using sessions. I steer clear of catalogs for my purposes. Good insight all the same.
