    Dave,

If you have product key (I couldn't find any activations under your forum email), create a support case and we can sort it out. If you previously had a trial running on your computer, you cannot run another free trial.

    Jon.
I have not had another trial of v3 on this PC but i do have v4 trial still running.
I have used my product key and v3.7.8 is ok now but i was shocked that i got this message on my first boot.

While i have your attention, i have noticed that the highlight alert's dont work at 100% view. I cant remember if the older version was like this. Is this working right?

One more thing. My product key is under a different name as it was brought by my company, not me directly.

    thanks

    Dave.

No worries Dave, I was just going to reset things for you if need be.

Exposure warnings have never been available in the focus tool to the best of my knowlege.

    Bloody hell.
Now what? Just downloaded it. Not done a restore or anything. Checked that the time was correctly set and now when i go to output a file i get a message that my trial has expired.
Come on PO, let not go through all this again.

    dave.

    I have a similar issue:

    1. I bought Capture One LE a few years ago.
    2. I bought a cross-platform upgrade for my Mac a year after.
    3. Because of the text on your web site (which I see is now not
    available
    http://www.phaseone.com/Content/Softwar ... tform%20up
grad e.aspx) I assumed that a cross-platform licence meant that
for a few extra dollars, you could buy ANOTHER licence at not the
    full price.
    4. When I reformatted my PC in January, I found out that my
working version of LE had returned to trial status.
    5. Now it seems I have to buy a new version of the program before I can
continue working on my PC. My Mac version is still operational,
but not on location in my office, so it's useless.

Your support agent suggests I buy version 4 for $99. Yet on the
web site, it says: "Already own Capture One LE/PRO? (Yes, I do -
in fact, I have paid for two copies.) Simply download Capture One
4 and activate with your existing license code - free of charge."

I did that, but of course it does not work because my licence has been "deactivated"

So my next option, to buy ANOTHER cross-platform licence, this
time from Mac to Windows, no doubt will also not work, if I
    understand your support agent correctly.

I feel rather hard done by. Having purchased two versions of your
program, I think I have paid my dues. On my profile, it says I
have one upgrade and two activations left, but cannot use those.
On your web site, it says Version 4 will be free to me, but it
    is not.

Can you suggest a fair course?

    Regards

probably not a good idea to post your username and product key on a public forum...I'd edit that out soonest....

repost in a support ticket directly to PhaseOne, that'll give you the info to reactivate your version....

John is correct, create a support case and we can sort everything out for you.

Thanks guys. The activation code you so kindly edited out before I could do so is worthless anyway (-: but thanks.

I logged a ticket with support two weeks, but they keep running me around in circles. The more I tell them my profile shows I have one more activation left, but cannot do it since the activation software will not allow it (says the code has been deactivated on the same page as it says I have one activation left), the more they tell me I must spend another $99 on version 4.

I don't want V4. I had a perfectly good V3.7.4 going until I had to reformat my machine. Now I needed to do 2 jobs urgently so I downloaded V4, but I must say I prefer the older interface of 3.7. I love the high dynamic range feature on 4, but that's not enough - I'd prefer just carrying on with 3.7.

I have also sent an email to the e-Shop, but no response yet.

Well I never. After not being able to get any joy out of the support crews at PO, I finally wrote to the CEO and very quickly, he put a fantastic gentleman called Poul on my case who today phoned me from Denmark THREE times!

I had a very good chat to him - they will resolve my issue by re-issueing a code for Win PO LE tomorrow. Damn, I'm relieved - and hugely impressed that Phase One will go to such lengths to iron out the problem.

Poul is aware of the discontent with the new version and says even he took a while to get his head around it, but the deeper he got into it, the more he realised that the speed and power of the processing.
