5D Connection problem to MacBook Pro 10.4.8
Hi,
I just recently purchased a 5D and MacBook Pro. I'm trying to set up the tethered connection. The connection is being made but I'm not receiving the capture. I'm getting the "Failed to receive capture Error: ffffffdc". The 5d firmware is up to date and so is Capture One. I also updated EOS utility. I'm on 10.4.8. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chris

Is the camera set to PC Connect? 0 -
I just wanted to add that I'm having the same problem. I'm tethered to a 5D with a 17" Macbook Pro. I'm using C1P 3.7.6 and my 5D's firmware has been updated to version 1.1.0.
Yes, when the camera's Communication was set to "Print/PTP," I got the error, "Connection Failed Error:0c000080." I've read the related Knowledgebase Article regarding this issue (Article ID 2158).
Now, with my 5D's Communication setting is set to "PC Connect," C1P displays "Connecting to camera" and the status bar scrolls, but it never connects.0 -
I got to the same place in this problem as starky by updating my EOS drivers. (I updated DPP to get C1P to stop scrolling.) Article ID 1885 says that we have to designate a new session and folder.
