Incredibly frustrated with Catalog Imports
I recently spent a week in NY shooting street.
Ingested to a Catalog on my Macbook Pro.
Upon returning home I copied the entire folder with intact structure to my Mac Pro.
Imported the catalog into my main Catalog but... all my edits and variants do not come over with the catalog!
Is this normal? How can that be right? Am I doing something wrong?

I have the same problem. I created a new catalog for my project on my Macbook Pro (Capture One 9.1.2). Have done a lot of edits in this catalog. I copied the entire catalog to my IMac and imported the catalog (Capture One 9.1.2). Nothing happened, besides the name for the different albums appeared.
According to the online help, the import of a catalog should work.
I'm getting more and more disappointed with Capture One software.0 -
Sorry guys but why your changes immediately to the latest version?
I'm working with 9.0.3 without any errors. It's in my opinion the last "stable" Version.
Whats happens if you try to open (not import !) your copied catalog?0 -
Hi Robert,
there is always the hope, that with the latest version, the problems are gone.
I could open (no import) the copied catalog. The pictures contain all the edits (even the previews showed the edits). Since the pictures are stored not in the catalog, I made the connection to the file location, checked the structure of the catalog and everything was fine. Then after importing the catalog, again no edits were imported.
Kind regards,

Always with all Software in the world - one problem/ issue is gone. But with newer version are one or more new issues are coming 😄[quote="Uwe_Bayer" wrote:

I'm not sure if I understand your procedure.
You are working with referenced Images. Thats OK. But one thing is very important:
As example - your photos are stored in "/Volumes/ ExternalDrive/Photos/"
If you now try to import your Laptop-Catalog, your Desktop-Catalog musst see the photos at the same location and they may not be offline.
But may be its a BUG in 9.1.20
