Printing with Capture One
Hi All,
I have tried using the Capture One printing tool, and I am not very satisfied with it. I get some magenta shifts, while printing from Photoshop or Affinity Photo gives me very good results. I have a calibrated display, and my printer/ink/paper trio is also characterized with its profile, that I use for printing.
My question is : who uses Capture One for printing, and who is satisfied for this task ? Maybe I missed something....
Thaks and Cheers,
Robert

Yes. I use a B&W RIP that works very very well.
For color I use Mirage Print. I created a recipe that exports directly into Mirage Print and I have no issues.
I hate printing directly out of Adobe. I always have issues with paper handling. This is why I bought Mirage Print.
It works every time with no wasted paper.
I hear Print Tao is also good and less expensive.0 -

I use it to print mostly color cut sheet prints. I haven't seen color shift problems. Do you find them to be subtle, or pretty noticeable? I might miss very subtle as my prints aren't after a critical color reproduction, such as product photography.0 -

It's not so drastic and, actually, if I hadn't the comparison with my calibrated display, and if I used to print pictures with saturated colors, I wouldn't mind. But I like to have "natural" colors.....0
